SORLEY:

Obviously you need to hole putts to win any tournament, but Sorley believes it’s more important at St Andrews than anywhere else. “The greens are huge,” he says. “You’re going to have some very long putts, so you need to be able to lag those close. If you hit it close, you need to be able to hole a six-footer with confidence, without worrying about where the ball will end up if you miss.

Recent Tweaks: The two bunkers on the right side of fairway have been advanced up to the green and closer to the edge of the putting surface.
