Who will win the lion's share of the John Deere Classic prize money?

Here’s how the John Deere Classic prize money will be awarded at the PGA Tour event.

The John Deere Classic gets a $400,000 bump this year, taking the tournament’s purse to $8.4 million.

Davis Thompson took home the lion’s share of last year’s bounty, securing a $1.44m payday for his four-stroke victory ahead of Luke Clanton, Pan Cheng-tsung, and Michael Thorbjornsen.

In addition to the healthy pay day, the winner at TPC Deere Run will receive the standard perks of 500 FedEx Cup points and a two-year PGA Tour exemption.
