Who is Justin Thomas’ wife? Meet the key figure in the Ryder Cup star and major champion’s life

He’s a two-time major champion, former World No.1, multiple PGA Tour winner and Ryder Cup star – but who is Justin Thomas’ wife? Meet Jillian Wisniewski.

Justin Thomas is one of the standout players of his generation. A two-time PGA Championship winner who was ranked the No.1 player in the world at the end of 2018, Thomas has long been a fan favourite.

He turned pro in 2013 after a successful collegiate career at the University of Alabama, earning his Web.com Tour card through qualifying school before securing his first win at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. By 2015 he’d earned his PGA Tour card and secured his first win in November at the CIMB Classic.

The following February, Thomas revealed his relationship with his now wife, Jillian Wisniewski, posting a birthday and Valentine’s Day message to her on Instagram that month.

The pair met through mutual friends, so let’s treat this like Justin on their first date and get to know Jillian Thomas née Wisniewski.

Who is Justin Thomas’ wife?

Like her husband, Jillian Wisniewski was born in Kentucky in 1993 (April 19, to be exact). It was there that she graduated from university with a degree in journalism in 2015 before moving into the world of media and advertising in reporting and production roles. More recently, she’s worked as a senior business manager at the advertising agency McGarryBowen.

After meeting Thomas in 2016, she has been a regular at PGA Tour events, majors, and the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, cheering her husband from the sidelines. However, she almost missed his most significant victory… his first major win at the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.

“I truly felt like I was going to win. I remember my girlfriend was supposed to fly out at about 7pm and I was like, you need to change your flight. I just feel like I don’t want you to miss this. I feel like I’m going to get it done,” Thomas revealed afterwards.

Thankfully, Wisniewski made it, and she’s played a key role in Thomas’ success on the course, even caddying for him in the par-3 contest at the 2019 Masters, and helping him battle his demons off it.

The 16-time PGA Tour winner has been open about mental health struggles, and credits Jillian as part of the “great support system” that helped him through some darker periods.

Speaking before they married, Thomas said: “We feel like we already [are married] because of how long we’ve been together … she truly makes me a better person and every time being around her brings out a better side of me.”

The couple was together for more than five years before Thomas popped the question, with him subtly dropping the news during an appearance on the No Laying Up podcast in November 2021. He referred to Wisniewski as his “new fiancée” while discussing his Thanksgiving plans, before revealing he’d popped the question a couple of weeks earlier.

The pair married in November 2022 in a private ceremony in Franklin, Tennessee, with close friend (we’ve all seen the Full Swing episode, right?) and fellow major champion Jordan Spieth acting as best man. The pair have been friends and playing golf together since childhood.

Don’t expect to find loads of photos of the ceremony on social media because phones were banned at the ceremony at Thomas’ request.

“It seems like everything everybody does, you got to have it on video or have it on pictures… I want people to be in the moment,” he said.

The couple reside in a $13.5 million super mansion in Jupiter, Florida, an area which is home to many of the world’s best golfers, including Thomas’ close friend Tiger Woods.

“It’s just so relaxing,” Thomas says of the area. “It kind of eases your mind a little bit and makes you not think about everything else that’s going on.”

They also spend time in Illinois and Chicago, where Jillian has significant work commitments.

On November 18, 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Molly Grace. Thomas described his wife as “a superhero!” in an Instagram post announcing the birth, as he reported that both mother and baby were happy and healthy.

“Our little girl is here! Molly Grace Thomas arrived to us 11/18/24, and we couldn’t be more in love,” he wrote alongside a picture of his new daughter.

Jillian and Molly joined Thomas for the Par 3 Contest at the 2025 Masters at Augusta, playing alongside Spieth, Max Homa, and their families.

Just a week later, Thomas won his first event as a new father at the RBC Heritage in April 2025, ending a barren run that dated back almost three years. Both Jillian and Molly Grace were present and an emotional Thomas choked back tears as he explained how special it was for them to be there.

During an interview, CBS reporter Amanda Balionis mentioned that Jillian was “just a girlfriend” and their daughter Molly “was not here” when he’d last won at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills.

“Winning is hard, it’s really, really hard,” Thomas said when explaining why he was so emotional. “I’ve worked my butt off and stayed patient, stayed positive. I got a great wife, great team, and now a great daughter.

“Just having [Molly] and Jill here, just seeing them,. “… I had to look away because, when you’re out there in the moment, you’re focused on what you’re doing… It’s business, I’m trying to execute and do what im doing, I’m trying to win a golf tournament.

“It’s hard to not start thinking about what could be when I see them. So that’s where I had to just kind of put my head down and take a deep breath because that’s when I feel like I can get into, ‘I want this so bad for us.’”

The Thomas family also have a pet dog called Franklin, who regularly appears in their social media posts.

More recently, Thomas posted a video filmed by his wife, which panned from their daughter to the golfer, who was sporting a large bruise in the middle of his forehead, having suffered a mishap while playing with his daughter and one of her suction toys.

“Toy and Molly one, Justin, big fat zero,” Thomas joked.
