The World No.1 has 20 professional wins to his name, including three major championships – most recently winning the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
Scottie Scheffler is a prolific winner. Born in 1996, he has at least a decade left at the top of the game in which to add to his already impressive tally and secure his status as one of the best to ever play the game.
The American made his PGA Tour debut as a 17-year-old at the HP Byron Nelson Championship in May 2014, four years before he turned pro. He made a hole-in-one during the third round and finished in a tie for 22nd place.
Scheffler made his first major start in 2016, playing the US Open and leading after the first round, only to miss the cut after shooting a second-round 78. He won the low amateur prize the following year.
The Texan, who played for the Longhorns at the University of Texas at Austin, won his first professional tournament at the Evans Scholars Invitational on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2019.
His first PGA Tour win came at the WM Phoenix Open in February 2022, and his first major title soon followed as he slipped on the coveted Green Jacket at The Masters in Augusta just two months later.

He won his second Masters in 2024 and added his third at the PGA Championship in 2025, lifting the Wanamaker Trophy for the first time. That victory put him alongside Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only men to win three majors and 15 PGA Tour titles before the age of 29.
Scheffler – renowned for his unusual foot movement in his golf swing – is yet to win the other two men’s majors, but finished runner-up at the 2022 US Open at Brookline Country Club. His best finish at The Open Championship is a T7 at Royal Troon in 2024.
As well as success on the PGA Tour and in the Majors, Scheffler is an Olympic gold medalist having won the golf event in Paris in 2024. He’s also won both the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup with the American team.
