Dustin Johnson, a seven-time World No.1, US Open and Masters champion, shocked the golf world when he quit the PGA Tour, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup to join LIV Golf in June.

But while other LIV players have taken swipes at their former Tours, the laconic American has been open and honest in saying that he wants to play less golf and spend more time away from the course.

It’s a move that has proved fruitful for the 38-year-old America, who won his first LIV title in just his fourth start at the Boston event, holing a mammoth eagle putt to win a play-off. He’s also captained 4Aces GC to victories in three of the four events to date.

That form has seen Johnson pocket a staggering $9,962,500!
