Titleist AVX Golf Balls
The Titleist AVX has lots of similarities with golf’s No.1 ball, the Pro V1, but targets golfers that need a lower spinning ball while still seeking the feel and performance of the premium ball.
The AVX is great for golfers with a lower swing speed and is softer than the Pro V1, meaning it could easily sit within the mid-handicap category, too. Titleist are one of the only manufacturers to offer a soft and low-spinning premium ball.
The ball’s high-speed core and soft urethane cover allow for low long-game spin but help maintain the greenside control and spin levels. The AVX’s 348 dimple design is reminiscent of the dimples pattern found in Bridgestone’s Tour B ball range and helps provide a piercing and low trajectory flight.

Callaway Golf Chrome Soft Golf Balls (2022 edition)
Callaway gave the most recent iteration of their hugely successful Chrome Soft golf ball a big revamp for 2022, with a new SoftFast core allowing them to take it down from four layers to three.
The new core is stronger but softer, meaning it reacts to stress and strains differently to offer more ball speed from the tee and softer feel at slower speeds. A new aero package also optimises drag and lift. The Chrome Soft is better suited to golfers who swing at 100mph or less.
Callaway also offer a Chrome Soft X, a four-piece ball which is faster, longer and a touch softer, and the X LS, which give lower spin off the tee. All of the models are available in a choice of colours and finishes, including TruVis and Triple Track, which help with alignment.

TaylorMade TP5 & TP5x Golf Balls
TaylorMade’s leading golf balls, the TP5 and TP5x are used by a host of Major champions, including Dustin Johnson (TP5x), Rory McIlroy (TP5x), Justin Rose (TP5) and Colin Morikawa (TP5). Both balls have five layers, giving the balls the ability to produce maximum carry and low drag, along with a high launch and a soft feel.
TaylorMade’s cast urethane cover provides large amounts of greenside spin and feel, and uses their unique 322 dimple design – shallow dimples with deep edges – to reduce drag and keep the ball airborne for longer. The TP5 features HFM (High Flex Material), which acts like a spring bouncing off the face to create more energy and ball speed.

Bridgestone believe this is the ideal ball for any golfer with a club head speed above 105mph.
The ball stands out thanks to its unique dimple pattern, which provides less drag and better aerodynamics. The Tour XS allows for maximum distance off the tee, but its softer feel and higher spin allows for more controlled approach shots into the green. If one of the best to ever tee the ball up can use it, it is definitely worth a try.

Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls
You don’t remain the No.1 ball in golf for more than 20 years without being seriously good! The Titleist Pro V1 dominates the ball count at tour events and is in the bag of Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth to name just a few.
